WELDING SERVICES SUPERINTENDENT

Welding Services Superintendent Position Summary :

The Superintendent is responsible for field operations and technical support on large welding projects ensuring the safe, timely and profitable completion of each project.

Hiring Requirements / Preferences for Welding Services Superintendent :

• High school or technical school diploma or equivalent combinations of technical training and / or related experience .
• At least three years in a leadership role in building construction is required .
• Thorough knowledge of pump and machine repair, basic electrical knowledge; craft agreements, jurisdiction , negotiations;

engineering, cost control schedules and safety required .

• Knowledge and understanding of the general and subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, construction means, methods and materials, understanding of line and grade and survey methods.
• Knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting procedures.
• Computer skills required , including familiarity with Microsoft office suite programs.
• Knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera, Microsoft Project etc.)
• Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Building Superintendent license required .
• Capable of obtaining various certificates and licenses required by the industry and customers and / or requested by the Division Manager or Operations Manager.
• OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).?
• Must maintain a valid Driver's license, obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass a pre-employment drug screen. ?
