Overview

The Program Manager is responsible for organization of the Transplant Center programs, under the director of the Transplant Center Program Director and in collaboration with the Transplant Center Nurse Manager, assumes accountability for program planning and development, accreditation and regulatory readiness, policy and protocol formulation, and communications and outreach for the Center.

The Program Manager participates in department and hospital performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Program Director, Transplant Center in policy formulation in accordance with various state and federal regulatory agencies, including UNOS / OPTN, The JC, and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)
  • Collaborates with the Transplant Center Quality Team to develop and monitor quality improvement work.
  • Maintains and assures program compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Comprehensive management and development of programs and services supporting the Transplant Center.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 or more years experience Experience working in a financial, regulatory, compliance or program management role or
  • Master's Degree Preferred and 5-7 years experience Experience working in a financial, regulatory, compliance or program management role
  • RN Preferred

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $35.91 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work / Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
