Forklift Operator

Job Title : 1st and 2nd Shift- Forklift Operator- $19-21 / hr Immediate start

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Forklift Operator to join our team. You will work in both a lumber yard and a warehouse, depending on business needs.

In the lumber yard, you will operate 10k-12k hysters, lift large pieces of lumber, and use a chainsaw to cut wood to specification.

You will also load wood onto flatbeds and secure it using a bander machine. In the warehouse, you will assist with picking orders and other duties as needed.

Flexibility with shifts is crucial, and you must be comfortable working outdoors. The lumber yard shift runs from 7am-3 : 30pm, and the warehouse shift starts at 9am and ends when the final truck is loaded.

Overtime is optional, and our busiest season is summer, with work weeks ranging from 44-50 hours.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 520 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tacoma, Washington.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both outdoor and indoor settings. The lumber yard is outdoors and requires working in various weather conditions.

The warehouse may have some fumes from industrial-sized forklifts, but it's manageable.
