Job Description :

Pitney Bowes is now hiring for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in our Grand Prairie, TX Presort facility!

Salary range : $ 55,000.00 - $60,000.00 annual salary + 6% field bonus. As part of our commitment to a flexible work schedule, this role does not have a set amount of vacation per year.

3rd Shift :

Tuesday - Saturday (Sundays as needed), 12 : 00 AM to 9 : 00 AM

Responsible for overseeing the production workers on designated shift. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance;

rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and solving problems. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws

• Oversees quality function throughout the production area. Assures TQM (Total Quality Management) processes and procedures are followed at all times
• Assists Operations Manager in completing required USPS and internal reports, job costing reports and application of all USPS postal regulations.

Assures clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shifts

• Offers suggestions regarding increasing efficiency of use of equipment, working conditions, and motivation of employees.
• Other duties as assigned

Your Background :

• Ability to work Tuesday - Saturday (Sundays as needed), 12 : 00 am - 9 : 00 am
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience in any one of the following areas where familiarity of USPS requirements and / or regulations are applied (presort, mailroom, associated industries)
• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and / or MS Access along with basic knowledge of MS Word, internet and email
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, or current maximum allowed by your State. Walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation
• Based on operational needs must be willing and able to work as needed, including weekends, holidays, days off and / or a different shift with limited or no advance notice
