Position Responsibilities :

• Prepare timely and accurate estimates and budgets for various commercial construction projects, including educational, healthcare, and multifamily buildings.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate information and ensure all project requirements are met.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope of work to determine project costs and produce detailed estimates.
• Utilize a range of programs and software to generate accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and availability of materials.

Position Essential Job Functions :

• Conduct thorough and detailed reviews of project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and estimate labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Prepare bid proposals and deliver accurate estimates within established timelines.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop value engineering and cost-saving strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and material costs.

Position Skills :

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Demonstrated good tenure with previous employers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Diverse commercial background and experience with a range of programs and software.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.

Benefits :

• Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $145,000, based on experience.
