About this position :
LMCU is looking for a Junior Mortgage Closer who will be responsible for verifying information and coordinating funding for closing mortgage loans.
This role will also ensure loans are funded timely and confirm closings with title companies.
What you’ll do :
Review reports, prepare all loans for funding and work directly with Wires department to send required funds for mortgage closings.
Identify loans that require Verbal Verification of Employment.
Obtain Verbal Verification of Employment from Employers.
Identify loans that require closing confirmation.
Obtain closing confirmation from Title Companies and review documents to complete Disbursement as required.
What You’ll Bring :
2+ years of experience in a similar or related position.
Solid communication skills, in both written and verbal form. Professional phone presence required.
Ability to work well independently upon receipt of direction.
Ability to be flexible as well as carryout multiple tasks at any given time.
Must be able to manage time effectively and possess a strong attention to detail.
