Overview : The Registered Nurse (RN)delivers high-quality patient care and ensures positive patientoutcomes through the compassionate and efficient application ofnursing knowledge.
Working under general supervision, this rolepromotes professional nursing practice by coordinating patient carethrough the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities :
Reviews patient needs and conditionsto deliver nursing care in assigned unit to ensure that everypatient receives the direct and proper careneeded.
Analyzes patient information, including medicalhistory, diagnostic results, and current condition, to developindividualized nursing care plans.
Prepares nursingprocesses, such as medication administration and treatments toprovide comprehensive and effective patientcare.
Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy andcompliance with regulatory standards and organizationalpolicies.
Evaluates patient response to interventions andidentifies any additional interventions needed to meet definedgoals of care.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary careteam to ensure effective care planning.

Required : Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred : Bachelor'sDegree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE :
Required : 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred : 1 yearin a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursingorganizations
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRY / LISTING :
Required :
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compactstate
BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA HealthcareProvider
