Inthis role you will be responsiblefor :
- Conductingcomprehensive evaluations to assess clients speech language andswallowing abilities.
- Developing andimplementing individualized treatment plans based on assessmentfindings and client goals.
- Workingcollaboratively with clients families and other healthcareprofessionals to establish therapy goals and monitorprogress.
- Maintaining accurate anduptodate documentation of assessment results treatment plansprogress notes and billinginformation.
- Educating clients andtheir families about communication and swallowing disorders as wellas strategies for improving speech language and swallowingfunction.
- Providing therapy servicesto clients with various communication and swallowing disordersincluding articulation disorders language delays fluency disordersvoice disorders and swallowingdifficulties.
Requirements
- CFYsare welcome toapply
- Must hold ASHAcertification to be considered.
- Masters Degree in Speech Pathologyor a related field isrequired.
- Eligibility for orpossession of an SLP license in Illinois isnecessary.
