Our team of skilled professionals is dedicated to ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet. We are currently seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of service.
Job Description : We are looking for 5-10 years of experienced Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of diesel engines, vehicles and dump trucks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, conducting inspections, and troubleshooting issues to keep our fleet running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair and replace faulty parts, components, and systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with a strong understanding of diesel engine systems and components.
- Certification from a recognized diesel mechanic program or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environments.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
