Job Title : Lead Structural Engineer
Location : Jacksonville, FL
Duration : Direct Hire / Permanent
Pay Range : $130,000 - $170,000
The Lead Structural Engineer is tasked with designing various types of modular plants, including Turbine Inlet Air Cooling (TIAC) Plants, CHP, Mission Critical, and District Cooling Plants.
They oversee structural design, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, conducting structural analysis, and providing pricing support.
Responsibilities also include coordinating with designers, generating fabrication drawings, and supporting module production.
Additionally, the engineer provides technical support during project proposals, participates in project teams, and assists with business development.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, professional engineer registration (or eligibility) in Florida, and at least ten years of relevant experience.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, proficiency in structural software, and knowledge of CAD and Advanced Steel modeling.
Travel of approximately 15% may be required.
