A company is looking for a Jr. Structural Engineer to join their interdisciplinary engineering team. Key Responsibilities Assist in solving structural engineering challenges on complex ship design projects under the guidance of senior engineers Prepare technical deliverables such as specifications, analysis reports, calculations, briefings, and test procedures Perform technical analyses using U.S. Navy specifications and commercial classification society rules Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship is required Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance (current clearance preferred) Bachelor's degree (BS) or higher in Engineering (Naval Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related discipline) Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team on ship design projects Experience through coursework, internships, or prior employment involving U.S. Navy ships and / or commercial maritime vessels is strongly preferred
