    • Sullivan University is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Director with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional who can shape, direct and guard our organization's public image as the communication landscape continues to evolve.     Responsibilities of the position include :

  • Conducts competitor research and research demand for an organization's services.
  • Developing promotions, building brand awareness, including positioning.
  • Identifying the university's potential students.
  • Strategizing and implementing advertising campaigns.
  • Analyze goals and research target audience to come up with detailed marketing plans and schedules for campaigns.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns and ensure they stay on track with scheduling as well as deliverables.
  • Facilitates innovative and out-of-the-box strategies and campaigns
  • Communicates marketing plans clearly to executive leadership as well as across departments.
  • Utilize analytics and understanding of marketing trends for developing data backed strategies.
  • Robust copywriting skills
  • Experience with digital marketing forms like content and social media marketing.
  • Partner with both admissions and education to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new students while also engaging in the current ones.
  • Oversee the creation of press releases and other content to promote the organization in the media.
  • Developing and implementing strategic public relations plans.
  • Establishing relationships with media representatives and influencers.
  • Ensuring that marketing and PR strategies are aligned.
  • Organizing public appearances, events and press releases.
  • Handling crisis and emergency communications.
  • Evaluating public opinion through surveys and social media analysis.
  • Tracking and influencing media coverage.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategies.
  • Protect and enhance the organization's reputation and brand image.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Manage marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Develop and manage a social media strategy that increases brand awareness and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Admissions to develop marketing collateral that supports the recruitment and outreach process.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and public relations initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Requirements

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Five years related experience in a proprietary post-secondary environment, with at least three years in a leadership role.
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • Ability to function efficiently in a stressful work environment.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently while meeting required deadlines.
  • Must possess excellent leadership, customer service, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, Campus Vue, Explorer.
  • Ability to function efficiently in a stressful work environment.
  • Must have the ability to build rapport and develop relationships.
  • Proficient knowledge of Velocify CRM.
  • Proficient knowledge of admissions processes, including how admissions and enrollment data is currently collected within the SUS.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Physical / ADA requirements of the position (sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, maintaining concentration, hearing, speaking, walking, etc.)
