CNC Machinist and Programmer - 1st Shift - Pay Up to $32 / hr

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer for our first shift from 7 : 30 am to 3 : 30 pm, totaling 40 hours per week.
• The role involves working with Fanuc Controls and a 3-axis machine, specifically the Johnford-SL 500.
• The ideal candidate will program at the machine and be open to assisting in other areas such as the stock room, assembly, and shipping.
• As part of a small team of 13 employees, you will be expected to wear multiple hats.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Kent, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $64480.00 / yr.

Employment Contingency : Position is offered contingent upon passing a drug screening.

Compensation : Base and overtime wages (if applicable) are paid bi-weekly.

Probationary Period : 90 days, followed by a performance review.

All current shop employees are union members (UAW Local 169).

Eligibility to join begins the first of the month after completing 30 days of employment.

Union dues : 2.5× hourly wage + $2.00, deducted from the first paycheck of each month.

Company Match : 4% on first 4% deferred + 0.5% on next 2% (total 5% on 6%)

Holidays : 12 paid holidays + 3 paid bonus holidays (no time off, paid in December).
