Reporting to a Supervisor, this position is for a senior level developer responsible for the maintenance and development of multiple complex ISBE applications; mentors junior staff; ensures development standards and procedures are followed; and leads in efforts to retire system technical debt.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develops and maintains enterprise-wide applications leveraging latest technologies.
- Drives change from within IT through communication with teams regarding processes, standards, and culture.
- Mentors junior staff and provides technical guidance to project teams.
- Evaluates and recommends tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform, and ease of use for the end user.
- Collaborates with peer organizations, quality assurance and end users to produce cutting-edge software solutions.
- Assists with the analyzing of existing applications for consolidation and improvement.
- Supports a vendor selection and analysis process by evaluating vendor architecture fit within the ISBE ecosystem.
- Provides actionable ideas for innovation and business capability development using independent research and analysis of industry and technology trends.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
