General Manager – Residential HVAC

Vaco Phoenix is partnering with a leading residential HVAC company to hire an experienced General Manager. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations of a $4M–$5M+ revenue business and lead a team through continued organic growth in a highly competitive market. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of HVAC experience, including both field service and leadership roles, and a strong background in sales, operations, and team development. This direct-hire opportunity offers a competitive compensation package between $110,000 to $130,000 (including bonus), depending on experience and company size previously managed.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all business operations for a $4M–$5M+ revenue residential HVAC company.
• Lead and manage field and office teams to meet service and sales performance goals.
• Drive organic growth through team leadership, process optimization, and strategic planning.
• Manage P&L responsibilities, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
• Build and execute sales strategies to drive unit sales, which make up 80% of total revenue.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
• Implement and monitor operational best practices to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members to support growth objectives.
