Exciting Opportunity : Safety Manager - Renewable Energy (Solar)

Location : Bend, OR (Regional travel as needed)

Your Responsibilities as a Leader :

Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program and solar energy project policy covering electrical work, height, and heavy equipment.

Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety training (fall protection, electrical safety, emergency procedures) to identify hazards and ensure compliance.

Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations to determine root cause and implement corrective action.

Ensure OSHA compliance, manage subcontractor safety, and maintain accurate documentation of training, inspection, and incidents.

Monitor safety performance, identify trends, recommend improvement, and foster a positive safety culture through communication, training, and leadership..

The Skills & Experience You Possess :

5-7 years of experience in a safety management role, with experience in the solar or renewable energy sector.

Thorough understanding of OSHA standards, state and local safety regulations, and risk management strategies. OSHA 10 Required. OSHA 30 is highly preferred.

Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST, or equivalent) is highly preferred.

Strong communication and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence teams and build consensus.

Proficiency with safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to travel within the region as required.
