Key Responsibilities Provide accurate interpretation of spoken words in various settings, including legal and law enforcement contexts Perform on-demand and scheduled over-the-phone, video remote, and onsite interpretation, along with sight translation of documents Monitor third-party interpreters for quality assurance and participate in quality management processes Required Qualifications At least 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen residing in the U.S. or a U.S. territory Must undergo a federal government background check at Public Trust level ILR level 3 (or higher) proficiency in English and a non-English language A minimum of 3 years of professional interpretation experience and a high school diploma Native or near-native proficiency in English and the other language, with access to necessary technology and a quiet workspace
