Position Overview :
The BYU School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time position as Course Director for Organ Systems 5 - Reproduction, Development, and Endocrine. This Phase 1 course provides first-year medical students with a foundational understanding of human reproduction, embryologic development, and endocrine function. Emphasis is placed on physiologic regulation, hormonal signaling, reproductive anatomy, sexual development, pregnancy, and pathophysiologic conditions across the lifespan.
The Course Director will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of the course in collaboration with faculty in physiology, anatomy, developmental biology, and endocrinology, as well as the Director of Phase 1. The ideal candidate is a basic scientist with expertise in reproductive physiology, developmental biology, or endocrine systems and a demonstrated commitment to integrated and student-centered medical education.
Required Degree :
PhD (or equivalent terminal degree) in in physiology, biomedical sciences, nutrition, or a related field
