The Preschool Promise Coordinator position provides administrative, coordination and project support for Preschool Promise programs in Lane County. The Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the Early Childhood Hub of Lane County in outreach / recruitment, eligibility determination, lottery selection, and placement of children into Preschool Promise programs throughout Lane County.
In this position the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with complex work is a necessity.
The successful candidate in this position must be bilingual in Spanish and English, preference will be given to candidates who are also bicultural.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF COORDINATOR POSITION
The successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty listed below at a satisfactory level with or without accommodation :
- Ground coordinated enrollment and community building efforts in anti-racism, addressing systemic oppression, equity, wealth disparity, intersectionality, and other areas important to social justice. Engage with United Ways internal Equity Advisory Council.
- Communicate with all families and partners using trauma informed practices and high degree of customer service.
- Develop deep understanding and competence with all relevant training materials and use manuals and guidance from the Department of Early Learning and Care to determine eligibility of families for the Preschool Promise program.
- Oversight of databases and spreadsheets, including auditing, tracking, support and communications between families and providers regarding enrollment.
- Participate in family recruitment and engagement strategies that promote inclusion and belonging.
- Develop and foster positive, strategic relationships with Preschool Promise providers and external partner organizations
- Responsible for submitting weekly, monthly and quarterly data reporting to the Department of Early Learning and Care, as well as facilitate data collection and analysis for the purposes of improving program quality.
- Provide a high degree of attention to detail, accuracy, quality and professionalism in assisting with documents, reports, proposals, and other correspondence. Quality control and troubleshooting within program.
- Develop deep knowledge of and connection to local and statewide resources for families, including but not limited to basic needs support, parenting education, mental health services, healthcare, child care, and other critical support services.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times; keep accurate, complete, and FERPA-compliant child / family records
- Assist with and participate in community tabling events throughout the year. Events may occur on evenings or weekends.
- Schedule, coordinate, and attend Preschool Promise related meetings. Responsibilities may include : facilitation, administrative support (including meeting scheduling, preparing handouts, taking notes / minutes to timely distribute and store as needed), and track follow-up or action items generated at meetings.
- Keep current with all program policies and trainings delivered through the Department of Early Learning and Care and United Way of Lane County.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- This position may require the use of a personal vehicle to attend work-related events and activities from time to time.

SALARY STATEMENT
The budgeted lifespan salary range for this position is currently : $21.75-$27.19 per hour. Proffered salaries are determined by several factors including applicant's knowledge, skills, experience, position, equity, and market. We offer a bilingual pay differential for eligible employees.
