About Us
Clay Custom Homes is a dynamic Custom Home Builder and Design Firm specializing in residential and commercial interiors . We pride ourselves on delivering innovative, high-quality design solutions tailored to our clients' unique needs. As we grow, we’re seeking a talented Interior Designer with material sales experience to join our team.
Position : Interior Designer
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs, preferences, and budget.
- Sell and promote interior materials , including cabinetry, countertops, flooring, and finishes.
- Develop design concepts, space plans, and mood boards to bring client visions to life.
- Create detailed 3D renderings and technical drawings for project execution.
- Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless project completion.
- Preferred but not required : Experience or interest in cabinet design (on-the-job training available!).
- Preferred but not required : Proficiency in 2020 Cabinet Design software or other design software .
- Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and innovative design techniques.
What We’re Looking For
Required : Experience in material sales (flooring, countertops, cabinetry, etc.).
A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
4] years of experience in interior design and / or sales.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and / or 3D rendering tools.
Strong communication and client relationship skills.
A keen eye for aesthetics, functionality, and detail.
