Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med / Surg night shift position requiring Epic EMR proficiency and an active SC or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work on the Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule with 4x12-hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • Weekend shifts are required
  • Floating to other qualified units and campuses may be necessary depending on census needs
  • Option to select a 36-hour or 48-hour weekly contract
  • Pre-assignment testing and compliance modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving access
  • Orientation provided every Monday
  • Travelers must live at least 100 miles from any facility in the health system, with night shift travelers eligible at a 50+ mile radius from the contracted campus
  • Modules completed before start are eligible for reimbursement up to 16 hours
  • Staff will only float to units matching their documented competencies

  • Active South Carolina or compact RN license
  • Current certifications in BLS (AHA) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent Med / Surg experience required
  • At least 1 year of Epic EMR experience is required
  • Two professional references required for consideration
