As a Junior Communication Specialist at FlexPower, you will play a key role in shaping our brand and voice as we drive the energy transition. Your work will span content creation, media relations, event planning, and digital marketing. You will communicate complex energy topics in a way that is engaging and accessible—whether through articles, social media, or direct engagement with the press and industry professionals.

You will work closely with our traders, business developers, and engineers to translate technical concepts into compelling narratives. From energy policy to BESS trading and power matching, you will help position FlexPower as the strongest and grittiest brand in the energy world.

We expect you to work regularly in our Hamburg office, with hybrid work options available. You will be part of a young, dynamic team that values initiative, creativity, and impact.

Key Responsibilities Research and write articles for the FlexPower website and blog, covering energy policy, short-term trading, grid services, and more.

Communicate with the press, crafting compelling stories and engaging with journalists.

Manage LinkedIn marketing and shape our digital presence.

Develop and improve our website, ensuring it effectively communicates our vision.

Represent the company at industry events and network with key stakeholders.

Organize and plan trade fairs and internal events that bring our brand to life.

Work with graphic designers and counterparties to produce high-quality content.

Collaborate and support business development to explain complex energy topics in a clear and engaging way—verbally, in writing, and visually.

Build and nurture strategic partnerships with other companies to expand our business reach.

You are confident in your ability to Write with clarity and impact, producing high-quality content that educates and engages.

Communicate effectively in both written and spoken form—whether drafting a press release or speaking at an event.

Manage social media marketing, especially LinkedIn, with a strategic mindset.

Work across teams and coordinate with designers, developers, and industry partners.

Solve problems pragmatically and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Break down complex energy topics into digestible insights for different audiences.

(Bonus) Speak and write in German at a proficient level.

Create compelling success stories about FlexPower's projects to increase visibility and brand recognition.

Support and collaborate with business development in establishing and scaling our business operations through daily tasks.
