Corporate Actions System Analyst (New York)

A large financial client is looking for a Corporate Actions System Analyst to join their team for various projects and system enhancements. This person will be joining the Global Operations organization within the Corporate Actions team. This person will be joining the team to help forward system enhancements to the asset servicing platform. They will be working through a backlog of system enhancements and roll outs to deliver to the operations organization.

Responsibilities :

• Working internally with both operations and the project management organization to drive forward initiatives
• When working on various enhancements, this person will need to come up with a proof of concept and interpret how it is going to affect various groups internally.
• This person will need to think independently and come up with solutions for the platform
• This person will need to have an understanding of the trade lifecycle and the flow of corporate actions in order to make system recommendations
• They will be partnering with external parties and the 3rd party vendor to test any updates to the system
• This person will be participating in go lives for their system enhancements and will need to continue to support go live throughout initial stages
• This person needs to have strong written ability to be able to write clear and concise change requests that include updates to the system and funding needed for updates
• This person will also be involved in any regulatory changes or updates that affect this system
