JOB SUMMARY :   The f acility  secretary / business office  assistant  is responsible for supervising, organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY :

Accepts incoming and outgoing calls, maintains accurate messages and disseminates same.

Receives all persons who enter the Community in a courteous manner, informs, guides, directs or otherwise assists residents, visitors, staff or vendors tactfully and congenially to present the best possible image of the Community.

Notify company personnel of visitor arrival.

Screen all visitors in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines and procedures.

Assists with business office duties  as assigned

Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.

Maintain the security and telecommunications system.

Monitor visitor logbooks and issue visitor badges.

Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Must possess a high school diploma or equiv alent

Must have the ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.

Must be able to read, write, and speak  English in an understandable manner.

Previous long term c are work experience preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine, repetitive job duties.

Show willingness to provide good nursing care.

Be considerate, pleasant, and professional in the performance of his / her duties.

Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding for the residents of the facility.

Must h ave competency in Microsoft Office systems.
