Custodian Position
Join the City of Bothell's Public Works Department's Fleet and Facilities Division as our next Custodian. In this role, you'll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the City's buildings, ensuring that all custodial tasks meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
To ensure employees in Information Technology Division and Public Works Facilities division uphold the integrity and security of City facilities and systems, job offers are extended contingent upon passing a background and employment investigation. This process includes completing a limited Personal History Statement (PHS) and may involve interviews with personal and professional acquaintances, a review of online / social media presence, and verification of employment history. Background checks include WACIC (Washington Crime Information Center) and NCIC / III (National Crime Information Center / Interstate Identification Index) criminal history checks, Department of Licensing records, driving abstracts, and fingerprinting. A credit waiver may be required.
The background check will be conducted and approved by the City of Bothell Police Department. The time required to complete the background check can vary and may take up to three months in some cases.
