• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Will float on a rotational basis
• 1 year cardiac telemetry experience required (inpatient only)
• Experience and competence in drug titration required
• Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• Required certifications : BLS from AHA, 4 trauma credits (must complete within first two weeks if not obtained), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Preferred certification : ACLS from AHA
• Patient ratios vary : nights 1 : 6 to 1 : 8 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Work with cardiac / medical surgical patients on 32-bed unit
• Use equipment including Alaris pumps, telemetry, and lift equipment
• EMR system : EPIC
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Care for patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities
