Overview

Purpose Statement / Position Summary : Provides guidance for the individual transplant program as well as oversight of clinical care. Coordinates the care of patients who are undergoing solid organ transplant on an inpatient and outpatient basis. On call for patient issues and donor coordination as scheduled. Functions as a resource for patients and staff about the transplantation process. Maintains communication with referring physicians pre and post-transplant.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : 5+ years inpatient or outpatient pediatric experience and 2+ years solid organ transplant coordinator experience required.

Education / Licensure / Certification : Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Current CA RN license, BCLS, PALS, CCTC.

Pay Scale Information

$122,595.00-$201,406.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
