The RN functions as both a team leader and resource, delegating and overseeing support staff, while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to establish patient goals and outcomes. Responsibilities : (40%)

• Assess patient needs and provide skilled nursing services as prescribed in the physician-authorized plan of care. (30%)
• Provide direct care including medication administration, treatments, patient education, transfers, call light response, and alarm monitoring. (20%)
• Evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans, collaborating with team members to update / revise care as needed. (10%)
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and hospital-specific policies.
