We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical team at our skilled nursing facility. The Director of Nursing plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance.

Responsibilities :

Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure delivery of quality care

Develop, implement, and enforce nursing policies and procedures

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations

Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff

Foster a positive work culture and support staff development

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care

Monitor documentation, assessments, and care planning

Lead quality assurance and infection control initiatives

Manage staffing schedules and department budget

Requirements :

Active RN license in good standing

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required

Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience

At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role

Strong knowledge of skilled nursing and long-term care regulations

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
