Under direct supervision, the Material Handler 1 operates forklifts or other mobile equipment to perform routine moving, staging, loading or unloading of materials, supplies or products within or near plant, yard, warehouse or work site.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Transports raw materials, supplies, products and / or finished goods to and from storage or production lines and places them in designated area. 80% of job.
• Completes all necessary paperwork and transactions, including scanning requirements. 5% of the job.
• Actively participates in continuous improvement and corrective action activities. 10% of the job.
• Perform housekeeping, 5-S, and other duties as assigned. 5% of job.
