Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Illinois with night shifts and current state licensure required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
  • Provides care to patients requiring close monitoring between intensive and general medical-surgical care
  • Night shift position with variable scheduling
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Must recognize and report changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgment
  • Required to maintain accurate and complete medical records
  • Expectations include professional communication and contribution to a positive work environment

  • Active IL RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent PCU nursing experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or BCLS certification
  • Must maintain an active state RN license throughout employment
