Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for full-time day and weekend shifts, requiring active ARRT (MRI) certification and at least 1 year of MRI experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a diagnostic imaging setting with primary responsibility for MRI procedures
  • May be assigned to both the main campus and an off-site imaging center
  • 12-hour day shifts including weekend coverage
  • Patient-centered environment focused on quality imaging services
  • Potential use of GE equipment and Epic EMR
  • Responsibilities include performing MRI imaging of high technical quality under the supervision of imaging leadership
  • Must provide patient-centered care and maintain professional standards
  • Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing, which is costly in the area especially during winter
  • No formally approved RTO, but requests may be considered
  • Not accepting any RTO requests formally
  • No COVID-19 vaccine requirement
  • Professional work environment with supervised support from director and lead technologist

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Active ARRT (MRI) certification required
  • Current BLS certification required (may be obtained upon hire)
  • At least 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • Must be able to function safely in a low oxygen environment at approximately 8,000 feet elevation
  • Experience with Epic and GE equipment preferred
  • Experience and registration in additional imaging modalities is preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish skills preferred
  • License required if applicable
