Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echocardiographer with at least 3 years of adult cardiac echo experience and current RDCS or RCS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a non-invasive cardiology unit
  • Work with adult cardiac patient population
  • Shift is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, with every fourth weekend worked and a day off the week before and after
  • No call required
  • Must work one holiday during assignment
  • Travelers are first to float and may be asked to float to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes
  • Use of Epic EMR system; Epic experience preferred
  • Equipment includes 3D Echo and Philips machines
  • Expected to function as core staff within a welcoming, team-oriented culture
  • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application and will not be approved afterward
  • Orientation begins on a Friday with both remote and on-site requirements for badge and ID pickup
  • Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date
  • Scrub requirements not specified
  • Testing or vaccination requirements include COVID and flu

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an adult Echo Tech with cardiac experience
  • Current RDCS or RCS certification required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Prior travel experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience with 3D echocardiography and Phillips systems preferred
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Must submit references and required documentation for consideration
  • Strict 50 mile radius rule applies; candidates must not own or cosign property within 50 miles of the facility
