job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and site management. Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with security-related investigations as needed. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Security Professional - Retail Site - Full Time
As a Security Professional in Kalamazoo, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence throughout a busy retail location. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, interacting with the public, and providing outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming environment. Guided by our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity, you will play a key part in creating a positive experience for everyone at the site.

Pay Rate : $16.00 / Hour
Job Schedule : DayTime
Friday 01 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM
Saturday 01 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM
Sunday 01 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
