Primary Duties and Responsibilities of Physical Therapist :
- Complete 28-33 visits per week
Evaluate and treat patients
Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent mannerInstruct and counsel patients effectively in exercisesIdentify patient's needs and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy to individual differencesRecommend options, courses of action or modifications in selected treatments ensuring patient's progress, safety and comfortApply the latest research related to restoring function, reducing symptoms frequency, and preventing injuryComplete documentation within 24 hours to support the delivery of therapy servicesPerform selected data collection and obtain accurate informationMeasure performance and report on patient's medical recordParticipate in patient status judgmentsAdhere to ethical and legal standardsEnsure continued competence and updated field knowledgeTreat patients in all regions (include Premium Travel for patients 50+ miles away)Treat patients under the leadership's directionSkills of Physical Therapist :
Proven working experience as therapistExcellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standardsHands on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities, and / or self care.Ability to communicate and instruct effectivelyHealth care administration and documentation skillsLicense to practice or relevant certification in TEXASMinimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements of Physical Therapist :
Must be highly organized and self-directedTime managementRequires the ability to manage collaboratively with all organizational levelsAbility to work in a small team environmentExcellent analytical and organizational skillsMust have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointWork Environment for Physical Therapist :
