Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An engaging opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist ready to contribute to the educational development of students. This contract position is set in a vibrant K-12 school environment in Chapel Hill, NC, for the 2025-2026 school year. The focus will primarily be on providing targeted support to K-5 students, addressing a variety of speech and language needs.

Qualifications :

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
  • Proficient in writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with ECATS or willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location : Chapel Hill, NC

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual students
  • Maintain a caseload of 15 students, providing direct services and support
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive student care
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals
