We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Senior Cost Manager to join our vibrant tech services team. This role is responsible for managing and controlling costs within our projects to maximize profitability and efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cost management, budgeting, coordination, and billing, with a deep understanding of the tech services industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all costs relating to tech services projects, from initial calculations to final figures.
  • Minimize project costs and maximize value for money while maintaining standards and quality.
  • Ensure all financial aspects and impacts of a project are clear to all parties involved.
  • Oversee the billing process to ensure invoices are accurate and sent promptly.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather information for budget planning and cost forecasting.
  • Utilize Procore to manage project costs and streamline operations.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
  • Prepare and present cost reports and analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost management strategies are implemented effectively.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost management, preferably in the tech services industry.
  • Proficiency with Procore, billing, coordination, and budgeting.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to manage costs and enhance profitability.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement cost-saving solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and other financial management software.
  • Knowledge of the tech services industry, including trends, regulations, and best practices in cost management.
