Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location : Roanoke, VA

Shift : Night Shift (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Pay : $27.70–$41.55 / hr

Sign-On Bonus : $20,000

Education Premiums : $0.50 / hr for Bachelor's, $0.75 / hr for Master’s

Shift Differentials : $3.00 (weekday nights), $4.00 (weekend nights), $2.00 on-call

Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our fast-paced Emergency Department team. This is a high-impact role in a collaborative environment serving patients from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Weekend & Holiday Requirement :

Every other weekend, plus major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and one summer holiday.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver therapeutic, diagnostic, and life-support respiratory care in general, intensive, and emergency settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate care plans
• Perform intubations / extubations, ABG draws, vent management (Triology, Vyaire, V60 BiPAP), and provide breathing treatments
• Participate in decision-making, process improvements, and staff mentorship
