Job Summary : Responsibilities :

• Manage CCU & education assuring competency and skill sets of staff is appropriate in delivering care to our patients.
• Establish and implement standards of practice that comply with regulatory agencies.
• Assure responsibility of overall productivity and successful budgeting for both units.
• Assess the DON in meeting the departmental goals of the hospital.
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient / guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

Qualifications

Education :

Bachelor of science in nursing and currently licensed in the state of Alabama required. MSN preferred.

Experience :

Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to ensure provision of appropriate patient care in assigned areas of responsibility. Must have previous critical care experience.

Additional Skills / Abilities :

Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests. Proficient oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills required.
