The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Supplier Performance Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by :
- Leading CBG Americas Supplier Performance Team tasked with responsibility to manage material supply constraints and supplier improvement efforts in critical performance areas (ie : OTIF, DPPM, SCAR recovery)
- Directing Procurement resource utilization in direct support Supplier Performance Management goals and objectives and ensure alignment to key BG and Procurement Category strategies.
- Being accountable for implementation of critical Supplier Performance processes and toolsets in management of supplier performance improvement efforts. (ie : Scorecards, SIPs, QPR etc)
- Ensuring implementation of Supplier Performance ongoing process improvement strategies across SIBG Americas region.
- Supporting the implementation of a globally standardized Supplier Risk Management processes in collaboration with BGs Divisions and plants. This process is intended to proactively identify and mitigate supplier risk mitigation efforts.
- Driving supply chain risk mitigation strategies related to BG supplier performance, capacity, capability and delivery.
- Contributing expertise to identify and develop ongoing continuous improvement in processes and operations for enhanced Supplier Performance Organizational Performance.
- Managing direct supervision activities for team including objective setting, performance management, coaching / mentoring and employee development.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Proficient experience in Supply Chain in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :
Proven ability to work across organization boundaries to influence, build credibility and effectively manage relationship with internal and external stakeholders.Direct experience in Procurement and / or Supply Planning functions.Masters degree in a business or industry related discipline from an accredited institution.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skillsWork location : This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
Travel : May include up to 10% domestic / international
