Travel Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Wakefield, MI

Shift : Days 4x12

Job Overview :

The Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes or assisted living centers. This role focuses on maintaining and improving the health and quality of life of residents through individualized care plans, collaboration with healthcare teams, and patient education.

Responsibilities :

• Patient Assessment : Conduct thorough assessments of residents’ health status, including vital signs, medical history, and changes in condition.
• Care Planning : Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring they meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Medication Management : Administer medications and monitor residents for side effects and therapeutic effectiveness.
• Health Monitoring : Regularly evaluate residents' health conditions and adjust care plans as necessary, documenting changes and interventions accurately.
• Collaboration : Work with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and facilitate communication among team members.
• Patient Education : Provide education and support to residents and their families about health management, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Quality Improvement : Participate in quality assurance initiatives, safety protocols, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Emotional Support : Offer compassionate care, addressing the emotional and psychological needs of residents and fostering a supportive environment.
