Overview
An established public school system in Southwest Washington is looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct and consultative services to K12 students. This is an opportunity to work with a diverse population of learners while enjoying the natural beauty and professional opportunities of the Pacific Northwest.
Essential Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders in students
Develop speech-language goals as part of each students Individualized Education Program (IEP)
Provide therapy using evidence-based interventions and materials
Consult with teachers and staff to integrate strategies into daily instruction
Attend IEP meetings and provide progress updates
Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in compliance with IDEA and Washington State laws
Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions
