We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to run jobs on a station with CNC Lathes OR CNC Mills.
You will be working with aluminum, plastic and stainless steel to make simple parts.
Job Duties include, but not limited to :
- Responsible for in process inspection (utilizing calipers, micrometers)
- Responsible for making adjustments to offsets, and program as needed to maintain tolerances.
- Must be able to work off of blueprints
- Must be able to accurately use shop math in checking parts.
- Perform basic maintenance to the machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs - weekly and monthly coolant maintenance)
- You will be expected to help around the shop with deburring, tapping, etc as needed to keep parts moving
- Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records.
- Observe all safety policies and procedures and operate in a safe manner.
Required experience & qualifications :
A minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC Lathes, Okuma is preferred.Working knowledge of Algebra, Geometry and can do metric to imperial conversions.General knowledge of G-code and M-code.Fluent in GD&T and machining blueprint reading.Skilled in part inspection and accountable to quality of parts.Able to do set ups and off sets or minor G+M edits , set up both lathe and mills (if you have these skills $24+ DOE)Physical Demands
Ability to select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing between 30 and 50 pounds. The ability to stand up to a total of 8 hours, with breaks while occasionally bending, stooping, and twisting and do repetitive work for 2 to 4 hours at a time.
There is an anti-fatigue mat at the machines, as well as a stool if needed.
