Responsibilities
Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior, strategic client counselDevelop coherent strategies for clients and projects while providing trusted counsel to top executivesGenerate business revenue by expanding existing client relationships and bringing in new clientsLead and mentor account teams in client management, staff development, and strategic guidanceRepresent the employer and key clients at industry events to build networking and new business contactsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related fieldMinimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership roleProven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors for high-impact media placementsExtensive writing and editing experience with various print and online mediaDemonstrated leadership in managing strategic communications and media relations programsPreferred Qualifications
