Summary : Line Technician II will build upon the responsibilities of Line Technician I take on additional duties and demonstrate a higher level of proficiency in quality control and at least one piece of equipment. Uphold safety protocols, and adhere to all Schwan Cosmetics, USA policies and procedures. Reporting to the Production Supervisor or Department Manager, you will play a critical role in meeting or exceeding performance expectations.

Summary : Line Technician II will build upon the responsibilities of Line Technician I take on additional duties and demonstrate a higher level of proficiency in quality control and at least one piece of equipment. Reporting to the Production Supervisor or Department Manager, you will play a critical role in meeting or exceeding performance expectations.

Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent

1. Quality Control (55%)

• Conduct thorough daily / routine quality checks with increased attention to detail, and visually inspect quality attributes (bar codes, seals, graphics, etc.).
• Report on quality and foreign material issues.
• Proactively identify machine or line problems while collaborating with senior line technicians when needed.
• Rotate between different machines as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to scrap requirements.

2. Machine Operation and Setup (30%)

3. Housekeeping, Safety, and Continuous Improvement (10%)
