What You'll Experience

Start with Training : Learn about curtainwall design concepts, company operations, and tools like Revit and AutoCAD.

Dive Into Structural Engineering : Explore façade loading requirements, building movements, anchorage design, industry standards, and key calculations such as allowable stress, member moment, and deflection evaluation.

Learn by Doing : Progress through weekly topics, building skills in both software and structural analysis, then apply them to real-world project work.

Work with Experts : Join project and department meetings to see how engineering decisions shape major construction projects.

Contribute to a Project : By the end of the internship, apply your knowledge directly on a live project under the guidance of a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).

By the end of the internship, you'll walk away with a strong foundation in design and drafting, and insight into career opportunities with Enclos.

What We're Looking For

Current enrollment in a Civil or Structural Engineering program.

I.T. certification or scheduled to take the F.E. exam.

Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings / blueprints.

Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) CAD, structural analysis software, spreadsheets, and technical communication tools.

Curiosity, collaboration, and a drive to learn.

Program Details

Location : Enclos Corporate Office, 3500 American Blvd W, Bloomington, MN

Schedule : Monday–Friday, between 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Duration : 10–12 weeks in Summer 2026

Compensation : Paid internship, with potential to transition into a permanent role after graduation.
