• Shift Times : 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 12p-10p, 4p-2a, 8p-6a (Must be flexible on Shift Time)
• Trauma Level : 3
• Annual ER Volume : 40,000
• Patients Per Day : 110
• Number of Beds : 42
• 70% of Total Admits received from ED
• 22% of ED patients admitted to the hospital per Day
• Staff Support : Full Nursing, 12hrs of APP Coverage Daily
• Supervision Required? Yes, APP & Residents
• ED Staff does not respond to house codes
• Hospitalist writes admission orders
• Procedures / Skills Required : Adult Outpatient, Pediatric-General Outpatient, Newborn resuscitation, Orthopedic-Non-displaced fractures, Suturing of minor lacerations, Incision & Drainage, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated adult, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated child / adolescent, Psychiatric-Uncomplicated geriatric, Diagnosis & management of common industrial-related medical problems, Ventilation management-establishing & maintaining an airway; various modes of ventilation for up to 24 hrs w / o pulmonary consultation, Evaluation & management of acute volume / BP issues, Central Line, Arterial Line, EKG Interpretation, Arthrocentesis, Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis, EM related procedures
• EMR : Cerner
• Requirements : BC, Active MI License, BLS. Must have clean background
• Local Candidates Only
