Overview

Clerk - Office Services role at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP

Receive and execute a wide range of service requests, providing support to all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and deliver incoming mail and other deliveries.
  • Provide catering setups and break-down after meetings; maintain tidiness in conference rooms and kitchens.
  • Maintain catering inventory and supplies in the conference rooms and kitchens.
  • Cover Reception as needed.
  • Assist with document productions (copying, scanning, assembling binders, assembling pitch books).
  • Perform general clerical duties.
  • Prepare offices for incoming personnel.

In addition, responsibilities related to maintaining firm and client information are to be adhered to by all employees. This includes complying with the firm's information security policies, protecting firm assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference, and reporting security events or potential events or other security risks to management.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and to perform responsibilities with minimum of supervision and maximum accuracy.
  • Ability to learn firm procedures and complete work in a timely manner.
  • Ability to set up and clean up beverage and catering service in the conference rooms and kitchens.
  • Knowledge of mail room procedures and office equipment including multi-function machines and binding equipment.
  • Education and / or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree and law firm experience a plus.

    Compensation

    The base salary range offered for this role will be between $50,000 and $58,000. When determining a candidate's compensation offer, elements unique to each person are taken into consideration including but not limited to skill set, experience level, performance, professional certifications, degrees and location, as well as the needs of the Firm.
