Travel RN Job Details Location : Spokane, WA 99204 (Washington healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026) Setting : Cardiac Stepdown / Neuro Stepdown (8N & 8S Neuro Units) Shift : 12-hour days (07 : 00 – 19 : 00), 3 shifts per week Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Floating : Yes, between stepdown units as needed Charting : Epic EMR Parking : Free onsite parking Estimated Weekly Salary : $1930-$2070 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington or Compact State (required at time of submission) Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown or Neuro Stepdown nursing Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (required for travel nursing jobs) Proficiency with Epic charting system Neuro nursing experience required Ability to float between cardiac and neuro stepdown units Experience with patient ratios of 1 : 4–5 References : Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in Cardiac Stepdown and Neuro Stepdown units Monitor and manage patients with neurological and cardiac conditions, including post-neurosurgery and stroke care Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, telemetry, chest tubes, and external CPAP / BIPAP Care for patients with craniotomy, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and pre / post neurosurgery needs Administer and monitor procedural sedation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services) Document patient care using Epic EMR Complete orientation and required modules prior to start Float to other nursing units as required to meet facility needs Apply now to join our Spokane healthcare team as a Travel Cardiac Stepdown RN and take the next step in your nursing career!
