SUMMARY : The Quality Control Inspector II is an intermediate level mechanical inspector role. The primary function of the role is to inspect components and assemblies for dimensional, aesthetic and workmanship characteristics. Simultaneously, the QC Inspector II will verify documentation is complete and accurate from internal and external suppliers. This team member will perform all mechanical inspection using micrometers, calipers height gages and hardness testing equipment and will log data as required. The QC Inspector II will interpret measuring results passing confirming product and will generate non-conformance documentation. EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to add and subtract decimals out to 4 places. Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
